Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sovren ("we", "us") collects when you visit sovrentrading.com, subscribe, use your account or run the Sovren strategy, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your email address, your name if you provide it, and your NinjaTrader username. If you set a password, we store only a one-way hash of it, never the password itself.

Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe or, if you choose it, Whop, on their own checkout and billing pages. We do not receive or store your card number. We keep the records they send us: your Stripe customer ID or Whop user and membership IDs, subscription status and renewal dates, and payment amounts and status.

License information. When the Sovren strategy checks its license, it sends your activation key, your NinjaTrader username and an identifier for the computer it runs on. We store the computer identifier to enforce the machine limit, the time and result of the most recent check, and the IP address it came from. Activation keys are stored only as a one-way hash.

Sign-in and security information. When you sign in or download the software, we record the IP address, browser type and time, to keep your account secure, prevent abuse and investigate problems. We also keep short-lived counters to limit repeated attempts.

Website visits. We count page views by date, page and the site or campaign that referred you (for example, a link from one of our videos). These counts are not linked to you, your IP address or any account. To attribute a visit to a campaign, the site keeps that referral tag in your browser's session storage for the current tab only.

Product analytics. We use PostHog and HeyCatch to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and which links and buttons are clicked, whether the pricing section is reached, and whether a checkout is started and completed. These tools store a random visitor identifier and the campaign or partner link you arrived from (such as UTM tags or a partner code) in your browser's local storage. These events do not include your name, email address, password, NinjaTrader username, activation key or card details, and we do not record your screen or keystrokes. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, PostHog is not loaded; HeyCatch still records anonymous page views and clicks.

Messages. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

2. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use advertising cookies. The product analytics described above use your browser's local storage rather than cookies.

3. How we use information

We use this information to create and run your account, process your subscription, deliver the software and verify your license, send account and service emails (such as sign-in links, password resets, receipts and important notices), provide support, keep the service secure, and understand which of our own marketing brings visitors to the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that run parts of the service for us:

Cloudflare: website hosting, database and file storage. Stripe: payments and subscription billing. Whop: payments and subscription billing for customers who check out with Whop. Resend: sending account emails. PostHog: product analytics. Google Fonts: the site's fonts, which your browser loads from Google.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Sovren, our customers or others.

5. Social media

We publish our own videos to Sovren's official accounts on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook through those platforms' official APIs. We receive only aggregate performance numbers for those videos, such as views, likes and shares. We do not collect personal information about people who watch or interact with them. Your use of those platforms is covered by their own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep information

We keep account, license and billing records while your account is active and afterwards as long as needed for tax, accounting, legal and fraud-prevention purposes. Sign-in sessions and one-time links expire automatically. Aggregate website counts contain no personal information. The link between a checkout and the visit that started it is deleted after 90 days.

7. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your account details from your account page. You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@sovrentrading.com. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept to meet legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

8. Security

We protect information with encrypted connections, hashed passwords and activation keys, encrypted storage of platform credentials, secure session cookies and limits on repeated attempts. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as required by law.

9. Children

Sovren is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will notify customers by email of material changes.
